Manny Pacquiao won in fight with Timothy Bradley
Pacquiao gets his revenge.
Manny Pacquiao won an unanimous decision in his rematch with Timothy Bradley, declaring the WBO welterweight title and avenging his questionable 2012 beat.
Two judges in the MGM Grand Casino Hotel in Las Vegas won the fight 116-112 for Pacquiao, while a third saw it like a 118-110 gain for the Filipino.
“Pacquiao was the better man today, he confirmed what he’s made from, the guy still has it. The key reason why I love Pacquiao so much is he never ducks an opposition, he’s always prepared to confront the very best, and he experienced among the best today, and he arrived on the top, so Manny Pacquiao can be a true success, a fantastic fighter, and I’ve much regard for him and his group,” said Bradley in a news conference after his defeat.
Pacquiao was correct and more intense in the opening moments of the rematch. Big blows were exchanged within the opening times, however the Filipono seemed to need replacing Bradley using the large early speed.
