Marlon Wayans, the co- star and author, joked: “It was the experts. They begged me, they cried. They wrote me letters, they wrote me apology letters. It had been them. Due to that ten percent at Rotten Tomatoes, I said, ‘You understand what? I’m going to do anything special for you guys. I’m likely to create a part two. I understand what you would like. You will want part two!’ Therefore I’ve got to provide it for them, since I’m that type of man. Therefore, experts, this one’s for you.”

‘A Haunted House’ may have been among last year’s worst reviewed films, however it was among the most lucrative, apparently producing over 40 million dollars in the box-office for an expenditure of only three million. But Marlon Wayans isn’t truly ready to discuss money: “And that toy!” he goofed: “That toy? That’s a character!”
