Titan is developing drones as large as a commercial airliner, which travel in a peak of nearly 20,000 yards (65,000 feet) and may remain up for so long as five years without ever needing to land and refuel. They recycled and could then be gotten.

Google has attempted balloons made to column access to the internet to underdeveloped areas of the planet.

Last August New Mexico-based Titan revealed its Solara 50 and 60 unmanned aircraft. Powered from the sun they’ve a vision selection of greater than four million kilometers.

The drones, that are are referred to as atmospheric satellites, may perform most of the procedures conducted by an orbital satellite but are much more flexible and considerably cheaper.

“Atmospheric satellites may help provide internet access to huge numbers of people, and help resolve other issues, including environmental destruction like deforestation and disaster-relief,” Google said.

Facebook had also reportedly been thinking about purchasing Titan for $60 million.

Facebook is focusing on its fleet of lasers, satellites and drones to create internet connection to underdeveloped areas of the world where internet access isn’t yet widely available.

At Titan Aerospace, we’re enthusiastic believers within the possibility of technology (and particularly, atmospheric satellites) to enhance people’s lives. It’s still early days for that engineering we’re developing, and there are certainly a lot of methods we believe we’re able to help people, whether it’s offering online connections in rural locations or helping monitor environmental destruction like deforestation and oil leaks. That’s why we couldn’t use our new colleagues as we continue our design, assessment and study are the main Google family and be much more thrilled to learn from.

To everyone within New Mexico and all over the world that has protected us to date — thanks. We couldn’t have managed to get this far without your assistance.
