Domenicali steps down as Ferrari team boss
Italy’s Stefano Domenicali has resigned as team coach of Ferrari after their bad start for the Formula One season.
The 48-year-old, who joined the group in 1991, is likely to be replaced by Marco Mattiacci with Ferrari presently sitting fifth in the manufacturers’ ratings, 78 points behind Mercedes.
Spain’s Fernando Alonso has said two last places along with a ninth in his three races to date this year, while team-mate Kimi Raikkonen has come seventh, 12th and 10th for the French group.
Mattiacci, the president of Ferrari North America, will dominate for your next Grand Prix, which gets underway in China on April 20.
